Shout it from the roof tops, June Dairy Month is here!

It can’t surprise anyone who has read my blog before that I may be slightly over excited about June’s 30 days of celebrating all things dairy. Now I know that it seems like every day is some sort of special day, every month has multiple reasons to celebrate. Not only is June, Dairy Month, it’s also Potty Training Awareness Month, National Adopt-A-Cat Month, National Drive Safe Month and National Tennis Month. While I am aware of the great benefit to society potty training provides, none of these other June celebrations really hold my interest for very long.

So in honor of June Dairy Month I will be crisscrossing the Dairy state to bring you stories, info and photos from other dairy lovers just like me. So stay tuned and please, share this page with your friends. I have some really great people and companies lined up to feature and you’re not going to want to miss any of it!

Norma, she’s such a character!

Carrie, I always loved going to Breakfast on the Farm, when we lived in Wisconsin. In fact the red barn banner on my website is from one of the breakfasts. We also dragged our visiting Aussie relatives to them if there were with us in June. One of my faves was up in Door County where we also learned about maple syrup as the farm did milk and syrup. Ah, such fun times!

Carrie… the city of Markesan has a June dairy month celebration. Not sure if you have heard about it, I myself have never gone but I know they even have a parade! I have a really great cheese cake recipe along with pictures I have been meaning to share with you, would be great for June, I just am not sure how to put them all together lol. I always put an extra amount of cow decor around the house, well more than the usual. Feel free to use any of the pictures that I put up the other day if you’d like! Norma sure is a pretty cow!!
