Blame it all on my roots, I showed up in boots…and now you can too!

I'm in love.

I’m in love.

All I want for Christmas is my two booted feet!

Or something like that…

To be 100% honest I feel like there are a lot of people jumping the gun on the whole Christmas thing. I’m seeing a lot of photos on facebook of Christmas trees and the Thanksgiving turkey is still frozen!

That being said, I talked to Hubs today about getting the Christmas lights put up on our barn. We did it one year and the neighbors loved it, we thought we might skip it the next year, we were busy, we didn’t have time to get the lights up. You know, things and stuff, it happens… December 1st our phone started to ring, it was the neighbors. They wanted to know when the lights were going on.

I guess that might be how tradition starts right? Coercion and guilt trips from your neighbors. Anyways, lights on our barn is now a tradition. As is the non-OSHA approved method of hanging the lights. Can you say Hubs in the skidloader bucket while I drive? He always seems to suck up a lot just before we do the lights.

This is much prettier in person. I guess it's hard to get a good photo of the feeling that Christmas lights give you.

Just when I thought I was having a bad day and didn’t think any more news would be good news. New boots (or the possibility of free boots ) makes a smile show up on my face. I may have to visit grandpa and my dad in the hospital soon, but at least I might be able to strut my boots! Gosh I love new boots!!! I’m going shopping ( more like wishful thinking ) #corralgirl

I suppose the boots up top would look nicer than the black rubber ones I wear every day! Lol.

Thanks for the link. I plan to be heading to their website on Black Friday. I will be picking up a pair of boots for me and a pair to give my teenage daughter at Christmas.
To the previous poster, that is a calf not a dog 🙂
